The Kachin from UK will commemorate
‘45th Anniversary of Revolution Day’

The programme will be included;

* Ceremony of Revolution Day

* Mahkaw Hkun Sa will give a talk on ‘Brief history of Kachin Revolution and defining the meaning of revolution’. Mahkaw Hkun Sa is a KNO (Kachin National Organisation) Deputy Foreign Affair and Chairman of KNCD (Kachin State National Congress for Democracy –Liberated Area).

* Ashley South will give a talk on ‘Ethnic politic in Burma; current situation and future aspect. Ashley is the author of ‘The Golden Sheldrake; Mon Nationalisms & Civil War in Burma’ and a consultant on politics and humanitarian issues in Burma.

* There will be an open discussion / Q&A programme on Kachin issues following Ashley’s talk, any comments and questions are welcomed.
